Every Australian Counts is a campaign calling for the introduction of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), as recommended by the Productivity Commission.

The NDIS will revolutionise the way people with a disability, their families and carers are supported in Australia. It will replace all the current state and territory disability systems, because they don't work.

The Productivity Commission's recommendations for the NDIS have been welcomed by people with disability and their families, carers and support organisations across the country.

The Federal Government has begun the first stages of implementing the NDIS, but the scheme is not guaranteed, by any political party.

The national Make it Real Rally for the National Disability Insurance Scheme is a chance to make the politicians really pay attention to action on the NDIS in 2012.

Every Australian Counts wants at least 10,000 people to attend the rallies across the nation on Monday, April 30.

As many people as possible are needed to show how important this reform is.

Why don't you attend one of the rallies? There is one in every state capital.

You can access information about the scheme in www.everyaustraliancounts.com.au
